What are the basic admission requirements for AHU 2025/2026?
To gain admission into Admiralty University of Nigeria (AHU) for the 2025/2026 academic session, candidates must meet the following basic requirements:
Must have at least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings
Must have sat for the 2025 UTME and chosen AHU as first (or second) choice institution
Must meet the departmental cut-off mark for the chosen course
Must participate in the AHU screening exercise
Can I apply to AHU without choosing it as my first choice in JAMB?
Yes, you can still apply, but before final admission process is completed, you must change AHU to your first choice on JAMB CAPS. This is a compulsory requirement because JAMB only processes admissions for schools placed as first choice.
3. Are direct entry candidates accepted at AHU, and what are the requirements?
Yes, AHU accepts Direct Entry (DE) candidates. Applicants must:
Obtain a Direct Entry form from JAMB
Possess an OND, HND, NCE, A’Level or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
Must have the required O’Level credits
Must upload all DE credentials on the JAMB portal and also take part in AHU internal screening
