What is the general admission requirement for AU 2025/2026?
To gain admission into AU for the 2025/2026 session, applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent). In addition, candidates must apply through JAMB and choose AU as their preferred institution.
What JAMB score do I need to be considered for admission at AU?
AU usually considers applicants who score 180 and above in the JAMB UTME. However, competitive courses may require higher scores. Meeting the required JAMB score does not automatically guarantee admission because you must also pass the post-UTME screening.
Does AU accept direct entry for the 2025/2026 admission?
Yes. AU accepts Direct Entry applicants. Candidates applying via Direct Entry must possess any of the following qualifications:
ND/NCE/HND certificate from a recognized institution
JUPEB or A-Level passes in relevant subjects
