BU UTME REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL SCIENCE COURSES
As for O’level requirements as seen above, mathematics is a compulsory requirement except for courses like Law, International Relations, Psychology, Political Science, and Sociology. It is different for UTE subjects because even Accounting and other management courses do not require mathematics in their UTME, but English is compulsory since it is our mother tongue.

FAQs
What are the general admission requirements for Baze University 2025/2026?
To gain admission into Baze University for the 2025/2026 academic session, candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits in O’Level (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. Candidates must also apply through JAMB, choose Baze University as their preferred choice, and meet the required cut-off marks for their chosen course.
Does Baze University accept Direct Entry admissions?
Yes. Baze University accepts Direct Entry applicants into 200 level. To qualify, candidates must have one of the following:
A’Level passes in relevant subjects
OND/NCE with acceptable grades
HND or Bachelor’s degree (for some advanced entry courses)
Direct Entry candidates must also obtain the JAMB DE form and upload all required credentials on the JAMB portal.
Is JAMB necessary for admission into Baze University?
Yes. Regardless of being a private university, Baze University requires candidates to register for JAMB, write the exam, and meet the JAMB cut-off score as well as the school’s internal screening requirements. After obtaining the required score, candidates must participate in the university’s screening exercise to finalize admission.
