As for O-level requirements as seen above, mathematics is a compulsory requirement except for courses like Law, International Relations, Psychology, Political Science, and Sociology. It is different for UTE subjects because even Accounting and other management courses do not require mathematics in their UTME, but English is compulsory since it is our mother tongue.

What are the general admission requirements for Eko University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Ijanikin (EUMHSI), for the 2025/2026 academic session?
To gain admission into EUMHSI for the 2025/2026 session, candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or an equivalent examination. Candidates must also have sat for the 2025 UTME, chosen EUMHSI as their first choice, and attained the minimum JAMB cut-off mark prescribed for their intended course.
Does EUMHSI accept Direct Entry (DE) candidates for admission?
Yes. EUMHSI accepts Direct Entry (DE) candidates who possess relevant qualifications such as A-Level passes, OND, HND, B.Sc., or NCE in related fields. DE applicants must also have five (5) credit passes in O’Level as stated above and must apply through the JAMB Direct Entry portal.
