What are the general admission requirements for FED POLY BIDA for the 2025/2026 academic session?

To gain admission into the Federal Polytechnic Bida, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

Choose FED POLY BIDA as their first choice institution during JAMB registration.

Score the minimum JAMB cut-off mark prescribed by the school for the 2025/2026 session.

Participate in the school’s Post-UTME screening exercise and meet the departmental cut-off mark.

What are the entry requirements for the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes at FED POLY BIDA?

For ND Programmes:
Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) O-level credits, including English and Mathematics, and a valid JAMB score that meets the institution’s cut-off mark.

For HND Programmes:
Applicants must possess a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant field from an accredited institution, with at least a Lower Credit grade and a minimum of one year post-ND industrial training experience. Applicants with a Pass grade may be considered if they have two years of relevant work experience.

Does FED POLY BIDA accept candidates who did not choose the institution in JAMB?

Yes, FED POLY BIDA accepts candidates who did not initially select the polytechnic as their first choice during JAMB registration. However, such candidates must complete a change of institution to Federal Polytechnic Bida on the JAMB portal before they can be considered for admission. They must also participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise and meet all other admission criteria.
