What are the general admission requirements for KINGS Polytechnic for the 2025/2026 academic session?

To gain admission into KINGS Polytechnic, candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. In addition, applicants must have chosen KINGS Polytechnic as their preferred institution in the 2025 JAMB UTME and obtained the minimum cut-off mark set by the school.

Does KINGS Polytechnic accept candidates who did not choose the school in JAMB?

Yes. Candidates who did not initially choose KINGS Polytechnic as their first choice in JAMB can still apply for admission. However, they must complete a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal to make KINGS Polytechnic their first choice before they can be offered admission.

What are the admission requirements for Direct Entry or ND applicants seeking HND admission at KINGS Polytechnic?

For HND admission, candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant field from a recognized institution with at least a Lower Credit grade. In addition, applicants are required to have one year of post-ND industrial experience and must provide their ND transcripts during the admission process.
