KUST UTME REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL SCIENCE COURSES

As for O-level requirements as seen above, mathematics is a compulsory requirement except for courses like Law, International Relations, Psychology, Political Science, and Sociology. It is different for UTE subjects because even Accounting and other management courses do not require mathematics in their UTME, but English is compulsory since it is our mother tongue.

FAQs

What are the general admission requirements for the KUST 2025/2026 academic session?

To gain admission into Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil, candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. In addition, candidates must sit for the 2025 UTME and choose KUST as their first choice institution with a score of at least 160 and above, depending on the course applied for.

What are the Direct Entry admission requirements for KUST 2025/2026?

Direct Entry applicants must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in ND, NCE, or IJMB/A/Level certificates in relevant fields. Candidates are also required to apply through the JAMB Direct Entry portal and participate in the KUST screening exercise to be considered for admission into the 200 level of their chosen programme.

Does KUST require candidates to write Post UTME for the 2025/2026 admission?
