What are the basic academic requirements for NDA Admission 2025/2026?
To qualify for admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) for the 2025/2026 session, candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. Candidates applying for engineering must have credit passes in Physics and Chemistry in addition to the core subjects.
Is JAMB UTME required for NDA 2025/2026 admission?
Yes. Candidates must sit for the 2025 JAMB UTME and select the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) as their first-choice institution. They must also meet the minimum JAMB cut-off mark set by the Academy, which is usually announced each year. Only candidates who meet or exceed the cut-off will be shortlisted for the screening test and interview.
Are there age and physical fitness requirements for NDA 2025/2026?
Yes. Applicants must be between 17 and 21 years old as of the year of entry. Male candidates must be at least 1.68m tall, and female candidates at least 1.65m. All applicants must also pass the NDA physical and medical fitness tests, including vision, cardiovascular fitness, and general health assessments. Candidates with physical disabilities are not eligible.
